I am a young professional currently working in postsecondary education in Washington, D.C.
As a 2008 graduate from the University of Michigan with bachelor degrees in Anthropology and Spanish and having earned my MBA in Washington, DC, in 2013, I have been engaging in the world of education, technology, social media and personal finance for some time. I bring the young person’s perspective to the table, being “new to the game”, eager to learn and hoping to help my peers in their own quest for answers.
I enjoy working with people to help them organize their lives, to reach their personal and career goals and to help them understand the importance of being lifelong learners. I’m the one that loves to have a solution when my peers come to me with problems. It was this desire to share that made me decide to create a blog in the first place; a space where folks can come together to talk through questions and get some answers. Some posts will be clearly thought-out, problem-solving narratives; others will be all about “the question”.
We’ll see how this develops over time, and I fully expect that I’ll find my voice and stride in the process, so join me and let’s see where this goes!
